VEGETABLE OILS
At the request of our European partners, in 2010 we began to study the production base for the processing of technical crops in the Russian Federation, Ukraine and Belarus. We got acquainted with the current scope, technical level of processing of technical crops and we also got acquainted with the economic production of vegetable oils. This information is necessary for effective long-term cooperation with selected production entities. We studied the customs and specifics of the Eastern vegetable oil market and sought optimal solutions to logistics problems.
The company Hakus a.s., is thus able to buy vegetable oils for technical and in other programs also for feed and food purposes. Our company can ensure the production of vegetable oils to order or quality adjustment according to the specific technology and customer requirements. In the same way, our company is able to provide and organize reliable and cheap logistics of individual business cases according to the wishes and requirements of customers.

Types
From a technical point of view, vegetable fat raw materials are of two types
You can find more detailed information in the tab of technological projects.
VEGETABLE OILS INTENDED DIRECTLY FOR PROCESSING - UNREFINED
Unrefined vegetable oils for technical purposes are the basic raw material for the production of FAME (Methyl Ester), which is used as an important biofuel for diesel engines, where it replaces traditional fossil fuel-diesel. Vegetable oils for this purpose must be CERTIFIED in the ISCC system and they are mainly the following types of fatty raw materials:
• CERTIFIED UNREFINED RAPE OIL
• CERTIFIED UNREFINED SOYA OIL
• CERTIFIED UNREFINED LINEN OIL
• CERTIFIED SUNFLOWER – must therefore be wax-free at least partially refined by WINTERIZATION
CHEMICAL PARAMETERS
Parameter | Acid number | Phosphorus | Sulfur | Water | Iodine number | Admixtures |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Unit | Mg/KHO/g | Ppm | mg/kg | % | gl_2_/100g | % |
Norm – limit | max do 3 | 30/100/300 | max do 80 | to 0,5 | by type of oilseed | 0,5 |
Sampling
Samplingfor analysis of the FFA and MIU content of purchased vegetable fat raw materials and checking the correctness of their certification is carried out at the reception into storage capacities. Prior to storage, the values must correspond to the declared quality and, in the case of certification, must comply with the approved and prescribed conditions.
During dispensing and before dispatch of individual transport units, the cleanliness of the transport unit is checked. Sampling is performed for analysis of FFA and MIU content for shipped fat raw materials to the customer. Sampling is performed for each transport unit separately before dispatch to the customer. If the transport unit is divided then samples are taken from each separate section separately. If the transport unit is bulk, such as a tanker, then samples are taken from the bottom, middle and top. One composite sample is then made from these samples. Prior to shipment to the customer, the values must correspond to the declared quality.
Transport
Purchase: is carried out in tank trucks or in railway tanks or in containers with flexitanks up to 20 tons in weight.
Sale:In tank trucks using the carrier in accordance with applicable legislation. The company provides transport to the place of delivery. The place and date of delivery means the place specified by the customer in a specific order. The transport is carried out by means of specialized tank trucks intended for the transport of vegetable fat raw materials (usual transport time 4-7 days).
B) VEGETABLE OILS INTENDED FOR QUALITY ADJUSTMENT AND CERTIFICATION THROUGH COLLECTION POINT
COLLECTION LOGISTICS AND PRODUCTION CENTER. Vegetable oils and UCO for these purposes do NOT have to be CERTIFIED IN THE ISCC SYSTEM by the suppliers and they are mainly the following types of fatty raw materials:
• NON-CERTIFIED UNREFINED RAPE
• NON-CERTIFIED UNREFINED SUNFLOWER OIL
• NON-CERTIFIED UNREFINED SOYABEEN OIL
• NON-CERTIFIED UNREFINED LINEN OIL

Certification
After proper technical adjustment of the fat raw material on the basis of the end customer’s request, certification is performed in the ISCC system according to the valid legislative rules and in accordance with the regulation of the certification company, which ensures control over the entire certification process.
